We support a wide range of fertility journeys, but our services may not be the right fit for everyone. We do not offer assisted reproductive technologies (ART) such as IVF, IUI, egg retrieval, or donor services. If you already require surgical intervention (for example, blocked fallopian tubes requiring surgery, severe structural abnormalities, or advanced male factor infertility requiring procedural intervention), you may need direct care from a fertility clinic or reproductive surgeon. That said, many people struggling to conceive haven’t yet explored underlying hormonal, metabolic, or lifestyle-related causes. That’s where we come in. My Fertility Labs' care is often ideal: Before ART We provide comprehensive hormone testing, cycle analysis, and root-cause treatment to address underlying imbalances. Many couples choose to work with us first to try to conceive naturally before moving to IVF. While Waiting for a Fertility Clinic Referral In Canada, wait times can be 6–12 months or longer. We help you use that time proactively — running detailed labs, optimizing hormones, improving egg and sperm quality, and beginning treatment right away. To Prepare for IVF or IUI Optimizing hormone levels, thyroid function, metabolic health, and nutrient status before ART may improve outcomes and reduce miscarriage risk. We work alongside your fertility clinic to support overall health before and during treatment. If You’ve Been Told “Everything is Normal” Many patients are told their labs fall within “normal ranges” but still struggle to conceive. If your cycles are longer, irregular, or you are new to cycle charting, the process may take 2–3 months to ensure we capture the right hormonal patterns at the right time in your cycle. Because hormone levels shift throughout the month, precise timing matters. We guide you step-by-step to ensure your testing is accurate and meaningful — not rushed. Ongoing Care: Fertility and hormone optimization is not an overnight process. Most patients remain in care for 6 to 12 months, depending on: The complexity of hormonal imbalances How long symptoms have been present How the body responds to treatment Whether they are preparing for natural conception or ART In many cases, it takes several cycles to bring hormones into optimal ranges, improve egg and sperm quality, and implement sustainable lifestyle changes. My Fertility Labs provides medical fertility care through licensed healthcare professionals. Our team includes Nurse Practitioners and clinicians trained in Restorative Reproductive Medicine (RRM) who are licensed to: Order and interpret laboratory testing Conduct diagnostic assessments Prescribe medications when appropriate Provide ongoing reproductive health care We deliver care virtually and focus on identifying and treating underlying hormonal and metabolic factors that may impact fertility. However, we do not replace your primary care provider, OB-GYN, or fertility clinic, and we do not provide emergency or hospital-based care.
